How bright the sparks glow
and how far they fly.
They blink bright yellow
and shift so sly.
Caverns are full of lights
and these lights shine
with raidiance
all down the spine.
So tall this tree stands
with branches of welcome.
Only few know this hello
only a some.
You can hear the laughter
and I see the caves glow.
But the glow never goes.
It goes by slow.
It burned slowly
but it burned bright.
It's that fire
I can never describe right.
For others
this view is simple and meek.
But for me
the treasure is everlastingly sweet.
I still dream about the caverns,
the fire flies and the tree.

As if I were recyclable,
your eyes break me down,
your gaze melts my aluminum limbs
and disintegrates my paper bones,
my heart leaps from the flames
and rides along the surface of your tongue,
because if you only knew how much I love you,
your taste buds would be burning for my blood,
if you only knew,
but you don't,
and I sure as hell can't tell you,
because you would use me
only to then throw me away.
